NYSID offers a wide range of quality business support services throughout the upstate New York region that can support and/or supplement our members’ needs to meet the procurement needs of the IHA membership. NYSID has been in operation in New York State for nearly 50 years, and has employed skilled teams of individuals with disabilities and qualified veterans to provide regionally sourced services from high touch point disinfection and other cleaning specialties, to electronic records management and mail fulfillment, and more.

NEW UISS Supply Chain Educational Scholarship Program

UISS is proud to announce a new Educational Scholarship Program to help the supply chain community with career and staff development through participation in AHRMM membership, educational programs and CMRP certification.

The Scholarship Program will offer funds to UISS Supply Chain staff for education and development within the field of Supply Chain Management.

We awarded 17 scholarships in the first year to cover one of the following areas:

  • Membership in the Association of Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM)
  • Certification in Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP)

Awarded IHA member facilities include:

United Iroquois Shared Services, Inc. Adds to Board of Directors

UISS welcomes Lou Aiello from MVHS to the board.
He has served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for MVHS since March 2014.

In this position, Aiello is responsible for the finance and operations of the company while integrating accounting, budgeting, investing and financial reporting as well as providing the health system with the managerial support necessary to administer the highest quality of care to all patients.
